Simon Molnar founded Flagship from a specific vantage point. After years inside Australia's largest pure-play jewellery retailer, he joined Afterpay during its period of global expansion, working at the centre of eCommerce's data and growth infrastructure at scale.
When a consulting engagement brought him back into physical retail, the contrast was immediate. Sophisticated brands with complete eCom visibility were running their store networks on instinct and spreadsheets. The infrastructure that had transformed online retail simply did not exist for stores.
